![]() Edwin Alicea, M.Div. |
Edwin was born in the center of Puerto Rico and grew up in the city of Bayamon, where he became a Christian as a young adult. In 1975 he joined the SDA church and in 1976 began theological studies at Antillean Adventist University. There he met his wife Maribel, also a theology and education student. Edwin attended Andrews University Theological Seminary where he received his M.Div. in 1989. Following seminary he returned to Puerto Rico, along with his wife and now three sons, and began pastoring congregations in the south of the island. He has also served as chaplain at Antillean University and as pastor for a congregation in Oregon. Edwin completed his first unit of CPE at Orlando in the summer program. |

Ray was born in Newport Beach, CA where his father was in the Marine Corp. Ray has desired to be a minister since he was 8 years old. Ray loved attending mass and being part of the church community. Since that time Ray has served in different areas of the church. He has been an associate and senior pastor in the United Methodist church. Ray has a Bachelors degree from UCF and an MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife Carol have been married since 1978. Carol is in the telephone industry, their son Keith is a student athlete at NC Wesleyan, their daughter Julia works and attends Seminole Community College. Ray completed his first unit of CPE at WPMH, supervised by Alfred Kambaki. |

Sam grew up in a traditional Chinese home, but studied at a Christian primary school and made a decision to become a Christian as a young, school-age child. His family was not supportive of this decision and so it was several years before he was baptized and could choose to follow his belief publicly. Sam studied engineering and mathematics and then followed his calling to ministry. Sam attended Alliance Theological Seminary, a Christian and Missionary Alliance Seminary. Sam has served as a college professor and a pastor. Sam is married and has one “very smart” son. He completed his first unit of CPE on the Orlando campus, supervised by Wes Monfalcone. |

Ganelle is a Certified Candidate for Ordination as a Deacon with the United Methodist Church who has served as a nurse in the greater Orlando area for the past thirty years. A native of Orlando, Ganelle received an Assoc. degree from Valencia Community College, a BA from Warner Southern College and a MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary. Ganelle completed a unit of CPE at Florida Hospital before entering the CPE residency. Ganelle and husband Bill of 23 years, enjoy ministering through hospitality by opening their home to missionaries and seminary students. They also enjoy gardening, and beach retreats. |

Lucile was raised on Amelia Island, in Fernandina Beach, FL. Orlando has been her home since 1970 except for six years beginning in 1992. In 1992 she left her career as a teacher of Emotionally Handicapped Children in Seminole County to attend New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where she received her MRE in Adult and Childhood Ministry. Lucile served as a minister in Baptist Churches from 1995-2002. In 2002 she was ordained and became Assoc. Minister of a new Cooperative Baptist church in the Apopka area, where she ministered until the fall of 2007 when she began work as a part-time chaplain for Newby Management Company. Lucile makes her home in Apopka and is a member of Westwood Christian Alliance Church in Ocoee. She has a 10-month old Jack Russell named Ella. Her two grown sons live in the Orlando and Clermont areas. She has two granddaughters. For fun she enjoys trips to the mountains, an occasional attempt at a game of golf, bicycling, reading and playing Wii! |
